Beninca radio controls that use ARC coding are not compatible with SOLO, but some variants can also operate with (HCS) coding which is instead supported by SOLO.
The variants on which this procedure can be performed are:
-To.Go - 2VA / To.Go - 4VA
-To.Go - 2AK / To.Go - 4AK
-Happy.2VA / Happy.4VA
-Happy.2AK / Happy.4AK
It is possible to find videos containing the procedures on the official Beninca website:

Changing the encoding type
1) Press and hold the T1 and T2 keys simultaneously, as in the image below
After about 3 seconds the LED starts to flash , the number of flashes indicates the coding currently set:
- 3 flashes and 1 second pause, the transmitter is configured as ARC
- 4 flashes and 1 second pause, the transmitter is configured as ARC + HCS
- 2 flashes and 1 second pause, the transmitter is configured as HCS
2) By keeping buttons T1-T2 pressed, after about 20 seconds the LED lights up steadily for about 3s.
By releasing the buttons during these 3s the transmitter is configured with the mode
next operation among the 3 previously listed.
3) Press the buttons again for 20 seconds to switch to HCS mode
NB If the T1/T2 buttons are released when the LED is not lit with a steady light, no
no changes are made to the configuration.
Now carry out the same procedure for all the remaining radio controls.
Having changed the type of coding, the radio controls are now no longer associated with the control unit. To carry out the association again, follow the instructions below specific for your control unit model.
Radio Control Association
Follow the procedure dedicated to your control unit model to pair the radio controls again.
For control units with external or plug-in receiver
- Press the Program button until the red LED lights up.
- Within 5 seconds press the button of the transmitter to be associated with channel 1.
- Within the next 5 seconds it is possible to memorize a new transmitter on channel 1.
- To associate channel 2, press the Program button on the device twice until the green LED lights up.
- Within 5 seconds press the button of the transmitter to be associated with channel 2.
- Within the next 5 seconds it is possible to memorize a new transmitter on channel 2.
- For control units with built-in receiver
Control unit with integrated receiver and without display
In this type of control unit there is a programming button and a signaling LED that allows programming of the functions of the integrated receiver.
The name of the button and the LED can vary depending on the control unit, in the example below we refer to a CP.J3 control unit:
- Press the PGM button once for 1s, the DL1 LED starts flashing with a 1s pause to indicate that the receiver is waiting for a transmitter code.
- Press the button of the transmitter you wish to memorize with the PP function within 10s. After memorization, the receiver automatically exits the programming phase.
- Within 10s of memorization it is possible to memorize further transmitters.
- Some control units use the LED or courtesy light to confirm that storage has taken place.
- To exit programming, without memorizing any transmitter, wait 10s.
Control units with integrated receiver and display
In this type of control unit there is a radio menu through which it is possible to carry out all the programming operations of the integrated receiver
- Press the <OK> button, the LCD display turns on and takes you to the first available menu (usually “Parameters” PAR).
- Use the <+> or <-> button to go to the “RADI” menu.
- Press the <OK> button, the display shows the first function available in the menu (normally the PP function).
- Choose the “PP” function with the <+> or <-> button.
- Press the <OK> button, the display shows the word “PUSH” to indicate waiting for a button and asks you to press the button of the transmitter you wish to associate.
