For this verification you need to know the generation of your device, below is a guide on how to identify it: https://1control.zendesk.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360019566140-How-to-determine-the-generation-of-your-SOLO-

For 1st generation devices, is required the use of the app
1Control SOLO

Once you have verified the correct app installation, if the problem persists you need to make sure that Bluetooth and GPS position tracking are on.
Bluetooth is always necessary to manage the connection with the SOLO device, while with some phone models the activation of the GPS is also necessary due to a system bug, which does not allow the phone to detect Bluetooth devices in the vicinity.
The "1Control" app does not track the position of your phone, it just needs to be active for the SOLO Bluetooth detection, so it is also necessary if you are in an underground garage.
If the application still does not detect the device, try restarting the phone.
Having checked these details, if the device is still not detected, you need to check that the app has all active permissions.
To set the app permissions you need to access the phone Settings, select the "Applications" (or "Apps") sub-section, select the "1Control" app and enable all the required permissions.
