Before carrying out the procedure it is necessary to make sure that both the "1Control" app and the "Shortcuts" app are updated to the latest version available
1) Open the "Shortcuts" app
https://apps.apple.com/app/shortcuts/id915249334
2) Press the " + " symbol at the top right to create a new shortcut
3) Press the " Add action " button displayed in the middle
4) Search for "1Control" in the apps section and select it,
then choose the proposed shortcut e.g. "SOLO open Gate"
5) The app proposes the name of the preset shortcut, which coincides with the shortcut to be pronounced after "Hey Siri", example: "Hey Siri, SOLO open Gate".
(The shortcut can be changed by pressing the drop-down menu indicated by the arrow and then rename).
*Attention, the name of the shortcut cannot begin with "open" but must be preceded by the name of the device; for example SOLO or DORY.
By holding down the power button and activating Siri, the shortcut can now be given.
For voice activation (without long pressing the power button) Siri may not understand the request; below is the reason:
*After some updates iOS changed the voice command settings giving priority to the accessories natively integrated into HomeKIT therefore using words like " garage " or " gate " creates a conflict in the Siri search.
We therefore recommend replacing the words "gate" with "access" and "garage" with "overhead door" ; example of command name "Hey Siri, SOLO open access" or "Hey Siri, SOLO open overhead door",
6) Finally, test the shortcut by pressing the Play symbol at the bottom right or directly activating Siri
7) Now the shortcut will be ready to use and will be displayed in the "All Shortcuts" section
