Confirmation of opening or closing is information that the gate/garage control units often do not have, just like normal doors.
We therefore decided to internally develop Opening State Sensors. These devices are designed to provide real-time and remote details on the opening or closing status of your automations and locks.
Development Motivations:
- Certain Confirmation: The lack of certain information on the opening or closing status can lead to uncertainty and worry. The new sensors solve this problem, providing clear confirmation through the app.
- Integration with LINK Wi-Fi Hub: With the introduction of the LINK Wi-Fi Hub and the ability to open remotely, we recognized the need for detailed status information to ensure safe and informed management of automations.
The 1Control opening sensors:
- Outdoor Sensor - Gate/Garage control : this sensor is specifically designed to detect the status of the gate or garage. You can check if they are open or closed directly from the app, quickly and easily. This sensor is designed to withstand the elements.
- Interior Sensor - Door control : a sensor dedicated to DORY, our lock, monitors the status of the door. From the app you can check whether the door is open or closed, contributing to safety and even managing remote openings with peace of mind.
