SOLO KIT is a receiver + remote control to be connected to the gate or garage control unit, which makes any automation equipped with a START input (such as a button or a key selector) compatible with SOLO.
When the remote control that operates your gate or garage is not compatible with SOLO, the solution is to add a new compatible remote control. To do this, you need to connect a universal receiver equipped with a compatible remote control. SOLO KIT is designed specifically for this purpose.
The universal receiver [ 1 ] will be connected to the gate/garage control unit. The remote control [ 2 ] supplied, which will open and close the gate, will be used to complete the copying for SOLO.
What's in SOLO KIT?
SOLO KIT comes with everything needed for installation. The package contains:
- Universal receiver
- Remote control
- Connection cables
How to connect the SOLO KIT receiver?
The connection of SOLO KIT varies according to the model of the gate or garage control unit.
On this page you will find ready-made connection diagrams for the main control units on the market:

Or, if you do not find your model, write to us at support@1control.it sending some photos of the electronic board of the control unit and we will provide you with all the necessary diagrams.
Is it difficult to install?
The installation consists of an electrical connection to the control unit/receiver in your garage, it is a fairly simple process but requires experience with wiring and installation of electrical material, we recommend technical intervention or an electrician.
Will my original remote control work after installing the SOLO KIT?
Yes, all existing remote controls will continue to work as before.
Is LINK compatible with SOLO KIT?
Yes, SOLO KIT solves the compatibility issue with SOLO, and SOLO can be connected to LINK.
So, if you want to remotely control your gate and your remote control is not compatible, you should buy:
SOLO+LINK: https://www.1control.eu/ecommerce/en/1control-solo-kit.php
and also
ONLY KIT: https://www.1control.eu/ecommerce/en/1control-solo-kit.php
I have two different remotes that open and close two gates/garages. How many SOLO KITS should I buy?
A single SOLO KIT can manage up to 2 control units, but this requires connecting it via cable to both. If the control units are not close to each other (more than a couple of meters apart) or if there are walls between them, we recommend purchasing a SOLO KIT for each control unit.
