1) Start copying up to the "Check Operation" screen
2) Press the menu key at the top right to enter manual recording as shown below
3) Move the slider above 10 seconds
4) In the app press "Send opening signal"
5) On the receiver press the adjustment button 
6) The adjustment indicator goes off.
7) Release the button on the receiver
8) The adjustment indicator lights up again
