The 1Control application is always visible on the car's infotainment, but for correct operation it is necessary to verify these two fundamental requirements :
1. Updating the App
Make sure you have updated the 1Control application (iOS or Android) to the latest version available. Updates contain improvements and fixes that may resolve any issues.
2. Installing the LINK Wi-Fi Hub
It is essential to have the LINK Wi-Fi Hub installed to manage the opening via Apple CarPlay / Android Auto. Make sure you have completed this installation correctly.
The need to use the LINK Wi-Fi Hub is a limitation imposed by Apple CarPlay / Android Auto features. Some infotainment systems do not allow Bluetooth connection with non-audio devices and those that do allow it usually have antennas oriented towards the inside of the vehicle, not allowing the operation of a device positioned 10-15 meters from the car.
To guarantee maximum reliability of the service we have decided to use it exclusively through the LINK Hub using the phone's data connectivity which does not have the limits of Bluetooth.
