If the 1Control application fails to detect the SOLO nearby, we ask you to proceed with the following tests
1) Enabling Bluetooth, GPS location tracking and permissions
The use of the smartphone's Bluetooth connection is always necessary to manage the connection with the SOLO device, while with some phone models it is also necessary to activate the GPS to allow the phone to detect nearby devices.
The 1Control app does not track your phone's location, it just needs to be active for SOLO detection, so it is needed even if you are in an underground garage.
Once you have verified these details, if the device is still not detected, you need to verify that the app has all the permissions enabled.
To set app permissions you need to go to your phone's Settings, select the "Applications" (or "Apps") subsection, select the "1Control" app and enable all the required permissions.
2) Restart your phone and use other phones
If the application still does not detect the device, restart the phone, keeping it turned off for 5/10 minutes. If the problem persists, a further test could be done with another phone trying to open using the round button present in the app.
3) Connection error when first enabling sharing
If the error you are encountering occurs when you first enable sharing, it is recommended that you be as close to the SOLO as possible during this procedure.
If it persists we recommend asking the SOLO administrator to delete the share and recreate it.
