To use remote opening it is essential that you have correctly installed the LINK Wi-Fi Hub. If you haven't already done so, you can find detailed product information here: www.1control.eu/link
1. Check your LINK Wi-Fi Hub installation
Make sure the LINK Wi-Fi Hub is installed correctly and connected to your home Wi-Fi network. See the installation guide for detailed instructions.
2. Check your Wi-Fi connection
Make sure the Wi-Fi signal in the area where the LINK Wi-Fi Hub is located is stable and strong enough to ensure a reliable connection.
Check that your Wi-Fi router's security settings are not blocking the LINK Wi-Fi Hub connection. Make sure your router allows the connection of external devices.
3. Updating the App
Make sure you have the latest version of the 1Control app installed on your mobile device. Updates may include fixes and improvements that affect how Remote Opening works.
4. Check that you have selected the "remote" opening mode
If you have correctly installed the LINK Wi-Fi Hub on the main screen of the app you can change the view to open it nearby or remotely by clicking on the icon at the top right. The circular button opens only in proximity, the slider opens remotely, wherever you are.
