To ensure optimal operation of the SOLO gate opener, it is essential to consider the operating distance and possible obstacles that could affect the signal. Follow these steps to maximize the performance of your device:
1. Operating Distance:
The operating distance between SOLO and smartphone is determined by the phone's Bluetooth and is approximately 15-20 meters. The distance between SOLO and the automation to be controlled is 30-50 metres.
Make sure you have positioned the device correctly and are within this distance when trying to use it in Bluetooth mode (in mode).
2. Optimal positioning:
To maximize the signal strength of the device, we always recommend positioning it approximately one meter from the ground and in the direction of the automation to be controlled. If you have multiple gates/garages to control, we recommend positioning the gate opener halfway between them, or keeping it in the dashboard of the car and controlling automations that are even very distant from each other.

4. Interferences:
Another aspect to consider to optimize the performance of your SOLO gate opener is the possible presence of electromagnetic interference in the surrounding environment. Electromagnetic interference can arise from electronic devices, power lines, or other sources of radio waves. This interference can affect the signal transmission of your gate opener and consequently reduce the operating distance. If you suspect there is electromagnetic interference that may be affecting performance, try moving the SOLO gate opener to a different location.
